Father's Day 2021
Although, I wrote many blogs on mother, first time I am writing post on father. Fathers like mothers are necessary in the development of a child's emotional well-being. Only father is a person, who always provides appreciation, help and wholehearted love, and give their children the gift of trust and high self-respect. Have you ever seen God? No, it does not seem that father is our God because whatever we want, we tell our father, and he fulfills irrespective of wrong or right, and all demands. Although children do not need a specific date to celebrate the most important man in their life. You guessed it right, we are talking about Father’s Day 2021, an important date for all the dads. Father’s Day 2021 falls on June 20 on, this year. This day celebrates fatherhood and male parenting.

Inception of Father's Day 2021
This date was first marked in the USA (United States of America) and has since been adopted by many countries. Father’s Day was founded in Spokane, State of Washington at YMCA (Young Men's Christian Association), on June 19, 1910 by a woman Sonora Smart Dodd, who was born in Arkansas, State of Washington. She tried to establish an officially equivalent day to Mother's Day for male parents. Her father, the Civil War veteran William Jackson Smart, was a single parent who brought up six children alone. Father’s Day is celebrated in many parts of the world at different times of the year, but mostly countries celebrate it on third Sunday of June. On this day we thank fathers and fatherly figures for the sacrifices they make, for embracing the responsibility of nurturing and raising children, and for devotion to their family.
Origin of Father Word (Father's Day 2021)
Study shows, Father comes from the Proto-Indo-European "paeter" and old English word "faedar" meaning he who begets a child, “reflecting the baby talk sound "pa “as well as a phonetic shift from "p" to "f" in Middle English. Scholars suggest that the origin of word "DAD" comes from first noises that kids make.
God is Father or Father is God (Father's Day 2021)
God is also viewed as a loving father and God is addresses as the Father too. We know that when God will appear, he shall be like father, we see father as God, he is loving us through everything we do. God is always addressed as the Father, in the way that a father would take an interest in his children who are dependent on him and respond to his children's best interest. A man who helped create something, or develop it, can be called the father of that entity or invention.
Father Vs Mother on Father's Day 2021
Now times have changed, both the father and mother are sharing the responsibilities whether it is finances or parenting. A research revealed that fathers today have a better understanding of the importance of parenting and they are spending much time with their children as men never did two generations ago. We must consider the fact that fathers are not mothers. Studies of men and their ways of nurturing children are uniquely different from women. Studies have found that children with father are much better in controlling their emotions and impulses. Fathers help children prepare for the reality and harshness of the world. While mothers tend to worry regarding their children’s safety and well-being, father almost always encourage their children to take risks and explore.
Role of Father in Parenting
A father is a male parent and a creator, inventor or author or give raises to something else or a leading man. Father's love is constant and unchanging. Father does not show his love. Children also expect from their fathers to provide a feeling of both emotional and physical protection. Father's love for his children is just like oxygen for survival. A father works efficiently day and night just to keep his family happy and safe. He takes up all the responsibilities of education of his children or every other monetary need. His work is endless and often thankless. A good father realizes that making mistakes is part of growing up of the children. The father's role during parenting children encourages them to take responsibility, and to also discover the world freely. Fathers play a role in every child's life that cannot be filled by anyone. It is not hidden from anyone that daughters are always attached to fathers and sons are attached to mothers. Fathers play a key role in their daughter psychological development from the moment they are born.
