Mother days 2021

I previously published some lines on "Mother" and again it's made the reason to utter myself on the occasion of Mother’s Day. The festival name is Mother’s Day, but I will write about Mother Days. Mother's day is the day, which makes people remember the importance of mothers in their life and is observed as each day to offer special emphasis to motherly figures around the world. Mother is an English word, not an acronym but many people create their own full form to show their respect and love for their mothers.

The official Mother’s Day arose in 1900's because of the efforts of Anna Reeves Jarvis, who conceived the celebration of Mother’s Day for her mother. Her mother expressed a desire and had asked her to carry a memorial after her death. Thus, three years after her mother's death on May 10, 1908, Jarvis held a memorial ceremony to honour her mother and everyone mothers at Andrews Methodist Episcopal Church.

After gaining support from a Philadelphia emporium owner named, Wanamaker, she organized the first official Mother's Day celebration at a Methodist Church in Grafton, West Virginia.

President of US, Wilson proclaimed the primary Mother's Day to offer public 'thank you' to mothers on May 9, 1914 and declared it an official holiday.

Mother’s Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May month in India every year to respect motherhood. Mother’s Day is observed on May 09, this year. Mother’s Day celebrated beyond the World, in more than 50 countries, however, not all countries celebrate it on the same day.

Mother is our best friend and always reinforce our life. Mother always tries to make people cheerful. The affection of a mother turns her attention to her child only and dispel her from former obsession. She is a very loving human being and kind who renounce her aspiration to better the lives of their toddlers.

Have you ever noticed that, how the mothers of animals also take care of their kids? You can observe this in any flock of animals. Herds of females (mothers) and children usually travel together in a circle and they always keep their kids on the inside, protected from predators. It is believed that, Elephants are most protective mom on the earth.

Mother resembles with Nature who always gives unconditionally without any expectation in return. It is very difficult to be a living inspiration like her for someone, and to do which we need zeal, intelligence, confidence, and passion in life. She always tries to keep a grin on her face.

Abanindranath Togore also portrayed India as Bharat Mata to obtain nationalist feelings in Indians during the liberty struggle. Bharat Mata was illustrated as a four-armed Hindu Goddess wearing saffron-coloured saree holding the manuscripts, sheaves of a rice, a mala and a piece of white cloth and a garland.

We all the time perceive, Mother as an image of Goddess (creator) and an icon of God's presence.

Mother is not a simply a word it is a whole universe.

What will you do for your mother, today?

You will write a letter or give present or cake cutting or keep photos in WhatsApp status

The kitchen will be closed for her today.

Let her choose the option since today is Mother’s Day.
